Hay ! Hello and welcome to Wowsox the UK’s largest online market place. “Like Amazon?” We hear you ask. Well NO actually. This site was started to be the anti Amazon for both the retailer or online shop and the consumer, you !
 
Many online retailers do not list on Amazon because of their very high commission charges. Our founder recognised this and wanted to give ALL online merchants access to a central market place that would allow them to sell their goods and still make money selling quality with exceptional customer service straight from the horses mouth.
 
You can use our site via the categories and simply keep swiping through the categories looking for the perfect pair of shoes, inkjet printer, pair of socks, vegan sausages or what ever you desire or you can click into the search box. This box allows you to narrow your search by category to eliminate searches for example for blue flower in bedding to blue flower in gardening.
 
The wish list and compare features are extremely useful and we have a full explanation of these later on.
 
There isn’t one ! Wowsox does not stock or sell any products and never will. We are here to connect savvy shoppers with online shops that we refer to as merchants. We connect you with these merchants and you will buy direct from them. You will use their shopping cart to checkout and pay for your goods and from that moment yiu are their customer.
 
Enter classic 80’s song …”I can’t answer that”. Seriously though, as stated above WowSox does not stock or deliver any products. If you want an update on your purchase you must contact the company you purchased it from. You would have had a purchase confirmation  us email or even text from the merchant and there will be an order number on this. Either email or call the company with this information to hand and they will be happy to help.

If you think the merchant is being unreasonable or is unresponsive regarding your return or complaint please get in touch with us so that we may consider delisting them from our site.

If you’re buying….absolutely flipping yes. We will NEVER ask you for bank details or credit card numbers. We make a small amount on each transaction with a merchant as a commission. The merchant chooses the amount so they can make a nice profit, reinvest in their business and offer great prices to you here on WowSox.
 
Wowsox is an online market place linking buyers to sellers. We do not stock or deliver any products or services. When purchasing goods or services your sales contract is with the seller/merchant we have introduced you to. In the unlikely event that our selected merchants have let you down you must contact them directly. WowSox have absolutely no sway or leverage with our merchants and we can not help in any mediation, refunds or such like. But, we would like to know if you have had serious problems with a merchant on our site so that we may consider delisting them so that other users do not have similar problems.
 
Chocolate chipped Wowsox. Most people have heard the term but either don’t understand them or misunderstand them. Cookies are small pieces of code kept within your browsers history files that hold information about a website you have visited. This information is fairly simple and includes data such as when you last visited and pages you looked at. This is why when you return to a previously visited web site it can still show you what you had looked at. It does not hold any private data like log in details or passwords.
 
Some years ago the EU passed a law that you must agree to cookies which confused many and why e-commerce sites ask you to accept its cookie policy.
 
Simple websites that don’t collect data such as you local plumber don’t use cookies so you won’t get this annoying pop up. Cookies are actually there to help with the user experience.
 
Since Brexit the UK government has been exploring removing the cookies acceptance pop up as it is important for websites and irrelevant and annoying for consumers.
 
The use of cookies is essential for WowSox to offer its services free of charge to you the consumer.
 
Product data such as description, price and images is supplied to us by our merchants. If the data supplied is wrong then it will be displayed as wrong. There is simply nothing we can do about this. We can not check manually every product as we display millions. However, if a merchants data is continually out of date please let us know so we can leiasecontact with the seller and hopefully rectify this. If this cannot be done then we will remove the merchant from our site.
 
The site is updated twice within a 24 hour period so we are confident that listings are correct according to data supplied by the seller, assuming the sellers own data is correct.
 
As per our terms and conditions we can not be held responsible for incorrect data supplied by any merchants such as price, description, size , dimensions or images and colours.

We list over 25 million products from thousands of merchants and the process is governed by the data supplied by our merchants, we cannot check manually each product. If a merchant accidentally lists washing up powder in printer ink ….. we apologise for them. Please let us know so we can update the merchant to correct their data. There is a “report this item” link on each product page and we encourage you to use this to help fellow users and report to merchants. Let’s make WowSox even better.

We are proud to be able to present to you millions of products from thousands of online sellers offering great prices and top notch customer service.
 
Our merchants are all bona fide online shops offering UK / EU approved products and understand that getting their goods to you quickly and efficiently at a great price means you will shop with them again and again.
 
Unlike Amazon who encourage individuals to literally bulk buy products from China, untested, not licensed or tested for quality and durability and then sell on their sales platform.
 
Some of our merchants are large well known brands in their own right such as Argos and Boohoo but many are less well known but with a huge inventory that you may not have found before. Others are much smaller affairs and specialising in niche categories such as organic honey or vintage vinyl records.
 
We check all merchants on our site as we want you to have the best online shopping experience so we would ask that if their performance in your opinion is lacking, please let us know by reporting them to us via our contact page. Multiple merchants complaints will result in the merchant being removed from our site
 
Are you a merchant who would like to list you products on wowsox? Well the good news is we charge you nothing to list. There is a small commission we take for each sale we give you and that commission is set by you so you can retain a sensible margin, make a profit and invest in your business and continue to offer wowsox visitors great products at great prices. We don’t offer the ability to search or browse products from a single merchant. We like a level playing field and our mission is to find you the best deals. This means we must offer you the same product from multiple merchants so you can choose who to purchase from.
 
New online shops are constantly being added to the site along with their inventory of products but if your confident or just curious that we are not listing a particular merchant then please let us know so that we can hopefully rectify this and get them on board
 

My Account

Firstly, you need to create an account to use the wish list feature so they are saved for you to review in the future. One of the great things about WowSox is that you can create wish lists from multiple merchants this saves you from visiting many online stores and registering with them to save your selections. We handle all that right her on this site, you can also make multiple wish lists for different items or projects. For instance, you could make a wish list for “blue scarf” and save your favourite finds to this list. You could have another list for “Bedroom” if you are redecorating and save products from thousands of online stores for lamp shades, rugs, bed side tables, paint and duvet covers.
 
Another great way to use this feature is for wedding or special day gifts. Save them to you wish list with its unique name and then share the list with friends and family.
 
If you want to share your list via What’s App or a similar messaging service we suggest you share your list to your own email address and then again share that to your chosen messaging service.

We do not share your user information when you register your account with anyone. Nobody. Nada. It stays safe on our secure servers and is used for our marketing purposes only. We will never ask you for your address, or any financial details like bank account details or debit or credit card numbers.
 
This can happen, we all find ourselves in this situation sometimes but don’t worry. Your username is always your email address so that bit should be easy. Your password is unique to you and not even we have access to that information for security and privacy reasons. However, all is not lost as on the log in page next to the password box you will see some text saying “Forgot”. Simply click this and follow the instructions to reset your password and regain access to your account and wish list.

Price is sometimes but not always the driving factor to a purchase. Often its features and functionality play a part in a purchase decision Use the compare feature to look at multiple products side by side at the same time. If you’re still undecided save them to your wish list.
 
WowSox is offered to you as a free to use service and we recommend that you use that service to its fullest. Opening an account is quick and easy with very few questions but once you registered you get the full benefits of the site. We encourage you to add your deal finds to your wish list as we will email you when the price or stock level changes either up or down. In your account you can choose which or if any marketing emails you receive. We aim to be helpful and assist you in finding great buys but we don’t want to be over zealous with our communications to you.
